And the count down begins!!!

After years of Ava pleading for a dog and then her lil sis join her too; we finally gave in. On Monday we are picking up our 6 week old English springer spaniel!! Her name is Paisley. I am a little surprised that Eric and I have not gotten a dog before now but likely to say we are super excited!! She is just the cutest pup and we can't wait to share picures with everyone....stay tuned.

Ahhh Summer.....

With summer in full swing; we are loving it!! The girls and I are enjoying so many adventures with many more to come. We have been hiking, biking, to the beach (many many many times) and hanging with friends. We are so excited for Aug 15th!! That's when we get our puppy!! The girls couldn't be more elated. We have count down chains and list after list of possible names. Stay tuned

Lauren's Soccer

I was asked to be assistant coach for Lauren's soccer team this season, which I was thrilled!! And next season, I will be the head coach of the DinoMonkeys!! Coaching and watching 3 & 4 year old little boys and girls playing soccer is absolutely hysterical

Ava's Kindergaten Graduation

Last night was a ton of fun celebrating Ava at her kindergarten graduation and music performance. We are so proud of her. She is such a sweet and an amazing little girl. I can't believe Kindergarten is almost over and 1st grade is just around the corner. You know how growing up your parents would always say "where has the time gone"; I am now my parents. I am so happy and proud of everything she has done and the little lady she is and is becoming but it is also sad. I love every moment of being their mother cause it is truly the best job I ever signed up for.

And We Are Back!

I know it has been a minute or two since I have last updated my blog so where do I begin? Our eldest daughter is about ready to graduate from Kindergarten! I can not believe that much time has already gone by. It truly seems like yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital and she was just my itty-bitty bird. I can't believe that soon I will have a 1st graders.....crazy!! It has been absolutely an amazing journey to watch Ava grow and learn. She is the most kind, beautiful, and gentle little girl; she reminds me of a peaceful hippie. She is in love with mother nature and dogs! Most of the days she pretends she is a dog......when do we give in and get the kiddo a dog??? That is the big question. She has such a beautiful soul, a heart of gold and loves her family deeply. 
Our little Lauren still has a few more years until she is off to Kindergarten....thankfully. I don't know what I will do when they both are in school :-(  Lauren attends the most amazing pre-school. She loves the fact that two days a weeks for 2.5 hours she gets to go to BIG KID school! Lauren has a beautiful soul as well! She is very inquisitive and loves to make people laugh. She has a smile that radiates and a heart of gold that will make you melt. I love watching the world through their eyes.
I love, love, love, the fact that I am able to stay home and raise my children. It is only for such a short time in life that they are little and I am loving every moment of it.
Who would have ever thought that the Wolin's would have ever relocated the family to a little town called Olympia. It has been slightly over a year that we have lived here and truthfully we are loving it. I miss being a few minutes from mom and dad, the siblings, certain nightlife and restaurants but Oly is a great place to raise children.  Eric continues to love his job and he is doing amazing work. I am so proud of him. Life is good!
